Its the NEW Track Diagram Stupid!

This image embodies an intense diagram effort between myself, my mom, and brother about 13-14 years ago. The digram is a plan of a Brio track I made, but which had to be taken down... All good things must come to an end.

Cloverfield

Renting this I had no idea what to expect. I had heard that it was really bad and to stay away. This advice made me want to see the movie even more. Now I had to see it only to make the comparison about my movie watching standards, to see if they were to low.

I think the movie was overthought. I think the idea was to give it a 'real' feel, leading to a lot of improv and home-video ish footage. The problem is that this neither makes for an increbily entertaining movie, nor is it what we expect when we watch a film. We have a certain expectation about how people SHOULD act when they are in movies, and I felt that the acting wasn't bad but more, unexpected.
